constructive resolution of family disputes. Resolution members
follow a Code of Practice that
promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems and

and in particular the best interests of children. Also an excellent

PAS is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering healthy,
rational, supportive and sustainable relationships between parents
and their children during and after divorce. Their mission is to
educate parents, extended family, law practitioners, clergy,
medical and mental health professionals to recognize the signs and
symptoms of parent alienation in order to intervene and to reduce
the occurrence of parent alienation.

litigation. This site strives to educate the public about this
growing problem in hopes of getting help to those who need it.
Parent Alienation Awareness Organization
- An organization dedicated to educating
the general public, the schools, police, counselors, religious
leaders, and more, about the growing problems of Parent Alienation
and Hostile Aggressive Parenting. This organization has been
actively involved in raising awareness through campaigning for the
national and international recognition of Parent Alienation

Recommended Readings
Joint Custody with a Jerk by Julie A. Ross
and Judy Corcoran - Most parents find the title
fairly amusing, however the book does offer more than a good
chuckle. Joint Custody with a Jerk is geared to help parents deal
with many of those less than ideal situations. It provides tips on
how to handle an uncooperative ex, identifying your own feelings,
problem solving and conflict resolution.
Divorce Poison, Protecting the Parent-Child
Bond from a Vindictive Ex by Dr. Richard A. Warshak
- An excellent resource for parents who are dealing with a
vindictive ex-spouse who is focused on seriously damaging your
relationship with your children. This book helps parents identify
